How much time do you spend with yourself? Literally, how much attention do you pay yourself?
Now, skip an upcoming item from your “TO DO LIST” and look at your hands, look at your legs – do you realise how busy they are, doing all this work for you on daily basis? Do you thank them for that? I wonder if we realise that our whole body is so busy, completely smashed by all the demands coming from our brain that it chooses an extreme way of communication with us – we recognise it as PAIN. Our body knows that this is a sure way to attract our attention.
What if we start to practise gratitude and express how grateful we are to our stomach after every meal? Sit, put your hand on your belly and say: Thank you, you are busy now, but I’m letting you know that I appreciate how fantastic a job you’re doing now, which I have no idea about, but I appreciate it.
When you come back home after a hard, busy day and your legs are exhausted, give them the same attention – thank them for their commitment and express your admiration for their great job! They brought you back home safely! In fact, such communication with your body is nothing less than a meditation, everyone can do it, it’s nothing complicated.
A real miracle is hidden in that kind of simple practice – completely subconsciously you elevate your feelings and your emotions! And emotions are energy! Guess what? If you practise self-respect and gratitude, you should begin to feel more energetic and less exhausted... statistically :-), how does it work in practise? Well, try it, you will not regret it.

For a while there I have struggled with affirmations. Don’t get me wrong, I strongly believe in the power of positive thinking. However, repeating some of the affirmations just didn’t gel with me at all. I felt like a fraud and didn’t believe when I was saying them.
