If we want changes in our life, we look for a way todo it successfully and effortlessly. How to attract a better life, a better version of ourselves? If you are here, you have probably already asked ourself these questions and you have probably heard about the law of attraction, about visualization technique and so on.
Let’s take a closer look at this process. Assuming you want to start earning twice as much as you do now, to have better health, to move to a bigger house, where do you start? You feel it's possible, you want it, but you don't know how to do it. The popular maxim “Be it until you become it” is quite vague and often leads to inconsequential and unimportant ‘wish lists’. You imagine it, you see it in your mind- but nothing changes, or at least not in the way you hoped. If you keep asking how you can achieve your goals, I’m here to guide you through everything there is to explore about THE PROCESS.
The first step is to understand that it isn’t a“dreaming” technique which takes you to Lalaland, but it is a process of thinking and acting. There is work to be done - mental and physical work too.You need to exercise a new state of mind and new emotions to shift yourself from your PRESENT life to your BEST LIFE.
Most of the mentors, inspirational speakers, and coaches I follow emphasize that you should visualize your better self, that person you want to be. They emphasize it is important how you walk, how you talk and even how you breathe, and also how you are connected emotionally to your environment. It doesn’t matter how you achieve your best version of reality. The universe will arrange the “how”. I followed that path. And yes, I noticed benefits in my daily functioning, but I didn’t experience any radical changes in my life.
Finally, I came across a broader concept. Visualization needs to be a bit more complex to succeed. You need to see the WHOLE PROCESS of your growth, see what you need to be doing to achieve the goal. When you grow you add value to the world. What value, you ask? What exactly do you do through NEW YOU to make the world a better place?
This is something that is worth doing for yourself -start imagining what you bring to the world, what value you can give through the changes that will take place inside you and, as a result, will be reflected in life outside.
This wider practise of visualisation is in harmony with the natural balance of the law of GIVING AND RECEIVING. They are compatible elements -
- male and female
- yin and yang
- wisdom and love.
And even if you are far from your goal (from your ideal version of life) at the moment, but you have a deep feeling, deposited every night before sleep, also in your body, sooner or later it will become your reality. You will find new opportunities will manifest in your life.
Every day, the best moment to do this is just before going to sleep, embed yourself in the process of transformation and exercise mentally – ask yourself simple questions: "what it would be like if I had the job of my dreams, if I fully recovered from my illness, had a bigger house (…put in anything you need in your life now). What would I be for others and to the world? What would I bring for the better? What should I undertake, change in my life to make it happen?”
At the beginning it’s not an easy exercise, but we need challenges to grow, to change. Accept hardships as a test in which you can judge and discover your strength. In failure, the next step is crucial -withdrawal, making another attempt or choosing a new strategy/detouring route. Visualisation of obstacles is a part of growth too, don’t skip it.
