Enjoy little moments in life

July 2, 2023

Remember those moments in life that energised you? Or maybe it was that awesome conversation you had, or when you conquered a difficult task, or even when you learned something new and felt super proud of yourself. Think about how they made you feel.

These little moments have the power to make our days so much better and make us happier overall. So imagine if we actively looked for and embraced more of these moments—our lives would be so much happier, right?

Clifton Strengths gives us great insights on how to go after and capture these energising moments. By figuring out your top strengths, you get a roadmap to unlock a whole world of fulfilment. For example, one of my strengths is Learner, so whenever I learn something new, it gets me really excited. And when I combine that with my Ideation strength, it's like a supercharged experience. My Relator strengths means I get a lot of satisfaction from having deep, meaningful conversations that go beyond small talk. And my Activator and Adaptability strengths love being on the move and trying new things, but they also understand the importance of taking a breather and just observing the world for a moment.

You don't necessarily need Clifton Strengths to see these patterns, but it's like a shortcut to understanding when and how these moments happen. It gives you a way to appreciate and enjoy the little wonders of life. With this knowledge, you can actively seek out opportunities that align with your strengths and create even more of those amazing moments. It becomes a journey of knowing yourself better and living with purpose.

So next time you have one of those incredible moments, take a pause and think about it. What were you doing? What was the situation? Write it down so you can come back to it later. The more you pay attention to these moments, the easier it becomes to see patterns and invite more of them into your life. Start this life-changing journey today.

And if you're curious to explore Clifton Strengths further, then all you need to do is to reach out. You might discover some incredible potential within yourself.

To wrap it up, I want to leave you with this quote from Robert Brault: "Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realise they were the big things."

With care,

Mags
